About the Role:

Your Co-op are looking for empathetic and compassionate people to join our Funeral-care team. As a Personal Funeral Adviser, you will work to ensure that families give their loved ones a sincere and memorable farewell.

As a Personal Funeral Adviser, you will:
• Arrange, promote and advise on Funeral Services, Pre-paid plans, Memorial Masonry, Remembrance Keepsakes and any related funeral service matter
• Ensure all funeral related enquires are managed to the highest of standards
• Create and maintain excellent working relationships with an internal and external parties
• Arrange and conduct caring and sensitive visits to the chapel of rest
• Ensure quality control related to all coffins and ancillary items in the funeral home
• Monitor the condition and care of the deceased persons in our funeral home
• Support the community by way of volunteering and charity events, also actively promote the business and membership within the local community.

About You:

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need:

• A full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communicator and good rapport builder
• Passionate about delivering customer care and service
• To be comfortable with dealing with the deceased
• Empathy and respect towards the deceased and their families
• To be organised and attentive
