Your Coop have a great maternity cover opportunity for a Transactional Services Manager to join our society. You will be responsible for managing our Offer & Onboarding processes to deliver an effective recruitment journey for our external and internal new starters and manage our internal changes for movers, joiners and leavers. As part of this role, you will manage and lead a team of HR Administrators and will play a pivotal part in driving efficiencies and continuous improvement.
As a multi-business group operating in Food Retail, Childcare, Funeral-care, Travel, Post Office, Pharmacy and Utilities, this role will provide you with a breadth of multi-sector experience in a unique and evolving organisation.

As a HR Onboarding Team Leader, you will be:
- Managing and developing the transactional and administrative operations within the HR shared service to ensure a high- quality service
- Ensuring the processes for ‘Joiners, Movers & Leavers’ runs smoothly and efficiently
- Leading the HR Administrative Team, developing and monitoring performance and workload of the Administration Team and forward planning to ensure smooth service provision through busy periods.
- Monitoring the HR process from an onboarding perspective to identify potential short, medium and long-term improvement opportunities.
- Analysing HR data, preparing ad-hoc management reports and making recommendations to our processes and practices.
- The system owner of the HR system (IFS), managing the system, ensuring improvements and recommendations are made for bettering the system.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders such as Heads of HR, Head of Colleague Relations, the Workforce Management team and Payroll team.
- Providing input into projects from an onboarding and data perspective, for example, Pay Reviews and TUPE transfers.
