About the Role:

Your Coop are looking for a Total Loss Manager to join our society. We’re a multi-business group operating in Food Retail, Childcare, Funeral-care, Travel, Post Office, Pharmacy and Utilities, meaning you will get a breadth of multi-sector experience in a complex and fast-moving organisation. As a Total Loss Manager, you will:

Create, own and deliver the future loss prevention strategy and roadmap, using internal, external data and insights and 3rd party support that will seek to deter crime, minimise the risk of loss and waste and maximise the protection of colleagues, customers, members stock and assets.

You will be recognised as the subject matter expert and will proactively lead a team, and be accountable for the loss prevention strategy, roadmap, and budgets for the whole society.

 

About You:

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need: 

Previous experience of creating a loss prevention strategy roadmap and delivering against and leading a team ideally in another retailer 
Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and reporting around total loss and for implementing digital solutions to deter and mitigate loss 
Focused on continuous improvement and have experience of driving improvement initiatives in customer experience and operational efficiency
Proactive and collaborative with a growth mindset who loves to drive innovation and change.
You take a data-driven approach to problem solving and decision-making
You're able to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
You have the ability to thrive and seek solutions in a highly complex, ambiguous environment
Experience in a grocery or other large retail environment support function
Driven, Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, passion, ownership, creativity, and pride in your work, Ability to work independently within a cross-functional remote team environment
Experience developing highly performing teams 
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, including ability to communicate complex analyses while simplifying and summarizing results and recommendations for executive team
