As a Workforce Management Planner, you will:
• Work closely with HR, Operations and Finance teams to create a bottom up annual budget and Quarterly forecasting within the Kronos system provide in a timely manner for scheduling in stores and the NEW food budget timeframes laid out by finance
• Lead the end to end budget process including the creation of a plan to get there, manage stakeholders and provide updates to the RTM on progress and any blockers
• Work with the fit to land team to ensure all activity is captured and costed to feed into the annual budget process
• Create a continuous improvement plan to drive forecast accuracy, compliance of scheduling to forecasting, compliance to process and the ops model, reduce manual interventions in retail and number of services now calls. Look at root cause around call volumes and contacts and create a plan to improve
• Provide transparency to customers on deadlines and deliver to agreed timings as per the WFM annual plan
• Work with stakeholder to embed Kronos system and ways of working across the society. Look at root cause to drive continuous improvement
• Proactively Seek out feedback from stakeholders to ensure we meet customer needs wants and expectations and to understand how we embed compliance and cultural changes to how we work
• Ensure that all changes to process in store are included in the operating model, reflected in the system, and built into the financial budgeting process.
• Drive forecast accuracy by ensuring the accuracy of all feeds into the forecast i.e. labour standards, store characteristics, transaction data, sales etc
• Manage and review labour standards to ensure efficiencies are being met in store and make recommendations where possible.
• Support 5-year strategy projects, simple savings initiatives or new FTL activity by providing clarity on the cost of the task or operating model
• Support the Business insight analyst with the development and improvement of reporting capabilities and analytics and support the Provision of insight and recommendations to store coverage and compliance reporting to stores, based on Workforce KPIs
• Contribute to the development of a high-performance culture within the Workforce Management Team.
• Seek to embed Kronos and grow trust by using a training needs analysis, respond to training requirements with new initiatives and drive positive messaging throughout the business.
• Deliver technical accuracy to a non-technical audience, with varying levels of capability within various target groups.
• Seek out opportunities to learn from external parties on best practice and innovation in the Workforce Management area and make recommendations on improvements.
